Kirk, Kratzer Named To NFHCA Senior Game Roster

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion's Kathryn Kirk and Stephanie Kratzer were selected to compete in the NFHCA Senior Game, the organization announced Tuesday.

The Lady Monarch seniors are two of 20 of the nation's most talented seniors invited to participate. They seniors will face off against the U.S. National Squad and each other on Nov. 19 at the University of Louisville. The seniors and Team USA will play four, 25-minute segments.

Kirk was an All-CAA performer a year ago and this season, she ranks second on the team with eight goals and she's dished out five assists.

Kratzer has had a career year for ODU in 2011 with 23 points on eight goals and seven assists. She's also anchored a stellar ODU defense that has allowed just one goal per game.

The Lady Monarchs will host the CAA Tournament November 3-6. They are the one-seed and will play either James Madison or Delaware Saturday at noon at the Powhatan Sports Complex.
