Troy Nance Named CAA Player Of The Week

NORFOLK, VA. - Sophomore point guard Troy Nance (Va. Beach, Va.) Has been named Player of the Week by the Colonial Athletic Association. The 5-9 guard turned in an all around performance in the Monarchs 81-67 victory over Coastal Carolina Saturday night.

Nance scored a career high 18 points, dished out seven assists and came up with four steals. 14 of his 18 points came in the second half, including a free throw with 17 minutes left to put ODU up for good. Nance currently ranks fourth in the CAA in assists (4.6), tenth in free throw percentage (.792) and 12th in steals (1.4).

The Monarchs host Hampton University (7-1) Tuesday night at 7:35 p.m.
