BOSTON, MA (April 9) - Old Dominion's 19th-ranked women's lacrosse team was defeated by tenth-ranked Boston, 10-6, on Sunday, April 9 on a frigid Nickerson Field. Boston improves to 8-1 on the year as the Lady Monarchs fall to 4-9.

The game was tied 1-1 early in the first half after Old Dominion senior Jenna Bajus (Annapolis, MD) scored an unassisted goal. However, BU rattled off six unanswered goals to take a commanding 7-1 lead with 27:14 to play in the game.

The Lady Monarchs fought back as Dana Wisniewski (Collegeville, PA) scored three goals while Jen Heister (Fayetteville, NY) deposited two into the net, but it wasn't enough as the Terriers scored two late goals to seal the deal, 10-6.
