Seeded 13th at the NCAA's...Finished the season 21-6 and 11-3 in duals...Defeated former All-American Ryan Loder twice (Northern Iowa)...Dechow advanced to the NCAA Semifinals after defeating Jon Fausey, 4-seeded Max Thomusseit, 12-seed Ophir Bernstein and 7-seed Kevin Steinhaus...Began the year 5-1 after defeating Alex Utley (UNC) and Jackson Hein (Wisconsin)...Also defeated nationally ranked Fred Garcia (Lock Haven)... Tied for most major decision victories with 4... Scored a 3-1 victory over then-19th-ranked Jon Fausey of UVA...
