Broderick" break a school record that lasted almost five years at the ODU Invite ... In the fall, she was part of the 2V8 that earned a silver medal at the Head of the Schuykill Regatta after placing second out of 31 boats in the Women's Championship Club Eights Division ... She also helped the 2V8 place fourth at the Head of the Lake Regatta and to a 2-0 showing over UNC in the Tail of the Lafayette Regatta ... In the spring, she helped the V8 place fourth at the San Diego Crew Classic (7:17.88) and seventh at the Knecht Cup (7:01.48) ... At the end of the season, she earned All-Big 12 honors for her efforts during the championship event, helping the V8 to an eighth place finish in a time of 7:24.85 … She was also named the team MVP at the annual ODU Athletics Banquet.

In the fall, contributed to the Frosh/Novice Eight boat's first place finish out of 29 teams at the Head of the Schuylkill ... Helped the Frosh/Novice Eight secure a first place finish at the Head of the Hooch out of 50 boats ... In the spring season, helped the Varsity Eight boat capture second place in the Petite Final of the San Diego Crew Classic.

PREP: Four-year member of the Absegami rowing team under coaches Terry Aucott, Dave Bird, Brad Young, and Chuck McGinnis ... As a senior, took first place at the Mainland Row for Humanity Ergathon for the third straight year and also took first place at the Gami Sprints ... As a member of the Varsity 8, won bronze medals at the Garden State Scholastic Champions ... Was a gold medalist at the NJ Scholastics Rowing Championships and Atlantic County Championships ...

PERSONAL: A member of the High Honor/Merit Roll, also a volunteer with Atlantic County Rowing Association, Habitat for Humanity, and joined her teammates in fundraising for the annual Shirley Mae Breast Cancer Foundation 5k.
