2011-12: Finished redshirt sophomore season with a final record of 27-16... Tied for the team lead in victories... Earned a bid to the NCAA Championships, going 2-2, furthest of any Monarch... Knocked off 11th seeded Matt Mariacher of American in opening round... Was runner-up at the CAA Championships... Named Second Team All-State by VaSID at 141 pounds...Earned a fifth place finish at the prestigious Southern Scuffle... Also recorded three wins over NCAA qualifiers during the year... Had three technical falls and four major decisions on the year... Claimed a title at the Cleveland State Open... Placed fourth at the Hokie Open.

2010-11: Redshirted... Took first place at the Pan Am Juniors, winning the 66kg Freestyle weight class and helped the United States to a first place finish.

2009-10: Finished 17-13 on the year at 133 pounds... Placed fourth at the CAA Tournament... Went 11-4 in tournaments... Took third place at the Hokie Open... Finished fourth on the team with five major decisions and had two pins.

Prep: LaValle comes to ODU from Minnesota ranked seventh by InterMat and Wrestling USA, and eighth by W.I.N... The projected 133-pounder was a USA Wrestling Junior National All-American in 2008, and finished in fifth at the event as a senior... Two-time Minnesota state champion and is the second recruit ranked in the InterMat Top 100, checking in at 80th overall... Was named to the 2008 National Duals Greco "All Team" and is the 2008-2009 Apple Valley HS Team Captain... Compiled a 192-30 record for the Eagles... Ranked No. 1 in the state of Minnesota in the 130-pound weight class... Won the 2009 Junior National Greco-Roman Championship in July, the national title was the first for an incoming Monarch freshman under head coach Steve Martin.
