Career: Making the switch from the back line to midfield in 2001...Formerly the heart and soul of the Lady Monarch defense, Rowe racked up numerous awards for her outstanding work last season...Earned first team All-CAA, All-State and Soccerbuzz Mid-Atlantic honors...Was also a third team NSCAA Mid-Atlantic selection...Member of the 2000 CAA All-Tournament Team...Spent the summer playing soccer in Iceland with teammate Jen Henley...Won the Iron Monarch award for excellence in strength and conditioning...Earned 2nd Team All-CAA and NSCAA Mid-Atlantic honors as a sophomore...Knocked in two goals, including one game-winner as a sophomore...As a freshman, scored one goal and added one assist for three points...First collegiate goal came in her first game and was the game-winner versus #22 George Mason...Was a two-sport athlete in high school, also playing basketball...Was a team MVP, two-time District MVP and Player of the Year in soccer...She earned First Team All District honors and Region and State honors as well...Member of W.T. Woodson's state championship teams in ‘97, ‘98...Named Most Athletic Female in high school.
