In the fall, contributed to the `B' boat's ninth place finish out of 38 boats in the Open Four race at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta... Was named to the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
PREP:
Four-year member of the Star Rowing Club coached by Alan Greer... Made the U18 rowing crew when she was only a U16... She participated in the North Islands Secondary Schools Regatta from 2009-11... In 2009 she finished third in the U16 Double sculls, fourth in the U17 coxed eight, seventh in the U17 coxed four, and seventh in the U17 coxed quad... In 2010 she finished second in the U18 double sculls, fourth in the U17 coxed quad, and first in the b final of the U17 single scull... In 2011 she finished second in the U18 double sculls, second in the U18 pair, and first in the U18 coxed quad...she participated at the Maadi Cup from 2009-11... In 2009 she finished fifth in the U16 double sculls and fifth in the U17 coxed four... In 2010 she finished sixth in the U17 double sculls... In 2011 she finished second in the U18 double sculls, fourth in the U18 pair, third in the U18 coxed four, and second in the U18 coxed quad... Awards include 2008 Most Promising Novice Rower, 2009 Most Aggregate Points, Rower of the Year, Best Performed Sculler, Most Outstanding Female School Rower, 2010 Most Aggregate Points, Best Performed Sculler, Most Outstanding Female School Rower, 2011 Most Aggregate Points, Crew of the Year for the U18 Coxed Quad Sculls, 2010 Nominated for College Sport Rower of the Year, 2011 Wellington Rower of the Year, Rowing honors in 2010 and 2011, Rower of the Year in 2010... Named a trialist for the 2011 U19 New Zealand junior rowing team.
PERSONAL:
Born September 21, 1993...Daughter of Ian Gall and Lynne Mackenzie... Her father was a member of the 1992 New Zealand age group triathlon team who competed in Canada and the 2003 team who competed in Queenstown, New Zealand... Her mother was nationally ranked in long distance whitewater kayaking from 1985-1992, competed in the ironman triathlon in 1996-2002, competed in Body Building, placing at the national level every year, and was invited to the International Asia World Championships...Majoring exercise science.
