Fourth Season

Jonathan Jones is set for his fourth year as an assistant coach at Old Dominion University.

Jones started at ODU as a volunteer assistant in 2001 before becoming a full-time staff member in 2002.

Jones currently has a `B' license from the United States Soccer Federation and is currently working as a Director of Coaching and Player Development for Norfolk FC, as well as the under-16 boys team for Norfolk FC.

Prior to coming to Old Dominion, the Greensboro, NC native served as an assistant coach at Watauga High School in Boone, NC from 1998-01. Watauga won three conference championships during that stretch.

Jones is a graduate of Page High School in Greensboro, NC and played soccer at Radford University before transferring to Appalachian State University. He graduated in May 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing. Jones currently resides in Virginia Beach.
