Old Dominion University athletics announced today that its football and men’s basketball games will be heard this year in central and western portions of Virginia on WBRG 104.5 FM and Supertalk 1050 AM in Lynchburg, VA.

The stations serve Roanoke, Salem, Lynchburg, Lexington, Charlottesville, Farmville, and the Danville areas of the state.

“We are thrilled to add WBRG and Supertalk radio to the ODU network,’ says ODU athletic director Dr. Wood Selig. “The addition of these stations will service approximately4,500 ODU alumni who reside in this portion of the state. FBS programs have multiple station radio networks to blanket their respective states and regions and this is another example of how we are growing our footprint of support and coverage for ODU athletics.”

Old Dominion football and men’s basketball games can also be heard on WZEZ 100.5 FM in Richmond and on ESPN 94.1 FM in Hampton Roads, the flagship station for the network.

In addition to carrying the games, WBRG 104.5 FM, Supertalk 1050 AM and WZEZ 100.5 in Richmond will also air the Bud Light Bobby Wilder Coach’s Show every Thursday night from 7-8 p.m. throughout the season, and the Jeff Jones basketball coaches show this winter.
