RADIO:The Monarchs radio broadcasts are on ESPN 94.1 in Hampton Roads; WZEZ 100.5 in Richmond and WBRG 104.5 FM & 1050 AM in Lynchburg, Va. Play-by-Play announcer is Ted Alexander. Billy Mann will serve as color analyst for all home games. Dave Twardzik will be a contributor to Monarch Courtside pre-game show at home games and color commentary for all road games.  Rick Kiefner will host the Monarch Courtside program at home games.

STREAMING: All fans can watch and listen to the Monarchs over the internet with Monarch Media on www.odusports.com All home games will be video streamed live from the Constant Center in HD. Fans can enjoy both for a monthly fee of $9.99 per month.

SERIES VS. GEORGE MASON: ODU leads the series, 34-21, but the Patriots have won the last five meetings including last year, 71-46 in Fairfax and 85-74 at ODU.  The Patriots are in their first season in the Atlantic-10.  ODU’s last win against Mason was a 69-66 decision at the Constant Center in the 2010-11 season. The Patriots are currently second in the league in rebound defense (31.8) and three-point field goal defense (.269).

LAST GAME:ODU lost at W&M Wednesday, 74-68. The Monarchs were led by Aaron Bacote’s career high tying 28 points along with 12 points from Dimitri Batten and 10 from Richard Ross.  ODU shot .500 from the field to W&M’s .467, but the Tribe hit 11 treys and 21 of 27 from the free throw line.  ODU outrebounded the Tribe, 32-27. 

THIS DAY IN ODU HISTORY
Jan. 4, 1989 – ODU ties a school record by hitting 9-of-11 three-pointers vs. UAB in the first half and go on to beat the Blazers, 101-89 in that Sun Belt Conference tilt.
