Richardson and Mecate Ranked by InterMat, Six Overall Ranked
NORFOLK, Va. - ODU sophomore wrestler Alexander Richardson debuts in the InterMat poll this week at No. 20, while Chris Mecate is ranked No. 5. Six Monarchs are ranked in the national polls.
At 149 pounds Richardson has won his last seven matches and is 19-6 this season.
Monarchs that are ranked this week include- Brandon Jeske (125), Mecate (141), Richardson (149), Tristan Warner (157), Jack Dechow (184) and Kevin Beazley (197).
