NORFOLK, Va. – Adrin Taylor of the Old Dominion University wrestling team will be commissioned at 9 a.m. Friday morning at the Ted Constant Convocation Center as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army and will graduate Friday night with a degree in political science.

Taylor, a redshirt junior from Norview High School in Norfolk, Va. has been an ROTC student for four years at ODU, as well as enlisted for active duty in the National Guard throughout his entire collegiate career. He departs on May 20th for Fort Knox in Kentucky to serve as cadre for ROTC students, where he will be for two months.

From there, Taylor will then go to a Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Sill, in Oklahoma until December 16th. Taylor will be a field artillery officer.
