ODU Releases Style Guide for 2014 Football Season

NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion University football style guide has been released for the 2014 season.  The style guide informs fans of the uniform color of the Monarchs at each of the six home games and encourages the 12th Monarchs to wear those corresponding colors. 

ODU’s home opener on Saturday, Aug. 30 against Hampton will be a “Blue Out”.  The Monarchs’ home game on Sept. 13 against Eastern Michigan will be the first-ever “Split the Stadium,” with one side of Ballard Stadium wearing white, the other side in blue.

Old Dominion’s nationally televised contest Friday, Sept. 26 versus Middle Tennessee will be a “White Out”, and back by popular demand is the “Stripe the Stadium” promotion on Oct., 4 against Marshall.

Fans will be asked to wear silver /gray on Saturday, Nov. 8 for the Homecoming festivities against FIU, while the regular-season home finale will be a “Blue Out” against Louisiana Tech.

Fans can pick up this year’s football style guide at numerous locations including the athletic offices in the Jim Jarrett Building, at the pre-game tailgates on Kaufman Mall, and many local area businesses. For more information about the style guide or the appropriate color for your seating section during the “Split the Stadium” and “Stripe the Stadium” games please stay tuned to Season ticket holders will have their designated color assigned to them on their ticket stub.
