Kent Bazemore (ODU'12) Featured in The Virginian Pilot

NORFOLK, VA-- Former ODU Basketball standout Kent Bazemore ('12) is featured in the June 29th edition of the Virginian Pilot by Ed Miller. Click on the link below to read the entire story.

After averaging 2.3 points and 6.1 minutes per game in 44 games with Golden State, Bazemore was traded to the LA Lakers where in 23 games he averaged 13.1 points in an average of 28 minutes per game.

Bazemore is ODU's 20th all-time scorer with 1416 career points. He is the school's second all-time leader in steals with 250 and owns the school's mark for most career games played with 140. His senior class won an ODU best 101 career games which included back-to-back
CAA titles, two NCAA tournament appearances, and the 2009 CIT post season title.

Bazemore was named the CAA's Defensive Player of the Year twice, and's National Defensive Player of the Year in 2011.
