Sailing Takes Fourth at David Lee Arnoff

GENEVA, N.Y. -- The Old Dominion sailing team turned in a fourth-place finish out of 13 teams at the David Lee Arnoff in Geneva, New York last weekend, while the Monarchs also placed eighth at the Carl Van Duyne Men's MAISA Singles in Annapolis, Maryland. 

At the David Lee Arnoff, Lee Dumaliang, Abby Lockler and Gavin Burkhart placed sixth in Division A, while Gray Kiger, Kyle Mergenthaler and Stephen Guglielmo notched a fourth-place finish in Division B. 

ODU's Alec Chicoine grabbed eighth place out of 18 at the Carl Van Duyne MAISA Singles, as the Monarch sailor turned in five top-five finishes out of the 14 contested races. 

The Monarchs are back on the water this weekend at the Henry Luce/2nd War Qualifier in Throggs Neck, New York and at the Truxton Umsted in Annapolis, Maryland.
