ODU Sailing Competes at Truxtun Umsted

ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- The Old Dominion sailing team captured a 12th-place finish out of 20 teams at the Truxtun Umsted in Annapolis last weekend. 

Georgetown won the title, while the College of Charleston placed second and Tufts University took third. ODU finished in 12th ahead of Boston University, South Florida, Stanford and Harvard, among others. 

In Division A, Jeremy Herrin and Carter Little finished in 11th place, recording five top-five finishes and one first-place finish. 

Jack Elkin, Elle Wells and Gabriel Smith notched a 13th-place result in Division B, while Alec Chicoine also grabbed 13th in Division C. 

Old Dominion's Gray Kiger took 12th in Division D while racing solo.
