WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Sophomore Nick Rencis turned in a 13th-place finish out of 120 golfers, helping the ODU men's golf team to a 10th-place finish out of 22 teams at the Kingsmill Intercollegiate in Williamsburg.
Rencis improved by three strokes in each round, firing a season-low 69 in the final round of the tournament to finish in a tie for 13th place. David Langley shot another 71 in round three, matching his score from round two en route to a 27th-place finish for the Monarchs. Calvin Greschner took 51st and Antonio Cruz-Conde placed 68th.
As a team, the Monarchs cracked the top 10 out of the 22 participating schools, placing 10th and finishing seven strokes ahead of hosting William & Mary.
Old Dominion men's golf continues the spring season April 2-4 at the East Carolina Intercollegiate.
