COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Old Dominion women's golf team is headed to the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Columbus Regional from May 8-10 on the OSU Golf Club's Scarlet Course, as was announced this morning live on the NCAA Selection Show via the Golf Channel.
Seventy-two teams and 24 individuals were selected to compete at one of four regional championships, each featuring 18 teams and six individuals, May 8-10.
From each of the four regionals, the low six teams and the low three individuals not on those teams (for a total of 24 teams and 12 individuals) advance to the national championships, May 19-24, 2017, hosted by Northern Illinois University at Rich Harvest Farms, in Sugar Grove, Illinois.
This year's women's championships will be broadcast for the third consecutive year by Golf Channel with more than 100 news and tournament hours planned again for the men's and women's golf championships..
