Rachel Walker Earns C-USA Spirit of Service Award

IRVING, Texas -- Conference USA announced that Old Dominion women's golfer Rachel Walker was Old Dominion's winner for the C-USA Spring Spirit of Service Award, C-USA Commissioner Judy MacLeod announced on Wednesday.

Walker has made the Dean's List four times and is a three-time C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll member. She has serviced more than 12 different causes including the Salvation Army Food Bank, the ODU Little Feet Meet, Lambert's Point Trash Pick up and Norfolk Public School Reading Day.

A team captain of the 2017 Conference USA Champions, Walker was a two-time C-USA All-Tournament Team honoree and was an individual medalist at the Golf Week Program Challenge in 2014.

The Spirit of Service Award is presented three times throughout the season, with today's honorees representing spring sports: baseball, golf, softball, tennis and track and field. For more information, head to ConferenceUSA.com.
