NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (2-2-2, 0-0-0 C-USA) will be back in action on Friday, Sept. 15, when the Monarchs welcome WKU (3-4-0, 0-0-0 C-USA) to the ODU Soccer Complex for a 7:00 p.m. start, which marks the Conference USA opener for both squads. Friday’s contest will be televised on the beIN Network as the ‘Game of the Week’. The TV window will start at 8:00 p.m. ET. The match will air live on beIN Connect (the online digital network) and air on a one-hour delay on the beIN Network (the TV network).

ODU will have a quick turnaround after Friday night’s match, as the Monarchs will travel to Richmond (0-6-0, 0-0-0 A10) for a Sunday, Sept. 17th showdown against the Spiders at 6:00 p.m.

Most recently, Old Dominion is coming off two road draws at UNCW (1-1, 2 OT) and at ECU (0-0, 2 OT). After trailing the opening 89 minutes and 42 seconds against UNCW, Kyra Ricks tied the match to force overtime with 18 seconds remaining in regulation, as Natalie Johnson was credited with the assist.

Remarkably, the Monarchs have allowed just one goal in the past 248 minutes of action. Old Dominion is 2-1-0 so far on its own pitch and is 0-1-2 in road matches.
