SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Old Dominion women’s soccer team (4-3-2, 1-1-0) travels to UTSA (2-7-0, 1-1-0) on Friday, Sept. 29 at 8:00 p.m. EST, before will concluding its current five-match road swing at UTEP (5-6-0, 1-1-0) on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 8:00 p.m. EST.
“These are two big games for us this weekend,” said ODU head coach Angie Hind.
ODU, UTSA and UTEP all enter this week with a 1-1-0 record in conference play. The Roadrunners have defeated Middle Tennessee (1-0) and lost to LA Tech (4-1). UTEP beat Southern Miss (1-0) and fell to UAB (1-0).
In the C-USA opener, the Monarchs took down Western Kentucky by a 1-0 score. Most recently, Old Dominion suffered its first loss in five matches at Florida Atlantic by a 1-0 score last Friday night.
Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer Campaign The ODU women’s soccer program is hoping you can help them help others, as they raise money for local children who have cancer. The home match against FIU on Sunday, Oct. 8 at 3:00 p.m. will mark the official Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer game. Below is the donation link and it is important to note that 100% of the proceeds will go back to programs in the local community benefitting kids battling cancer.
VOUCHER BOOKS With a $25 purchase of the 2017 Soccer Voucher book, fans receive 20 ticket vouchers that can be used in any combination to gain entry to any women's (or men’s) regular season game at the ODU Soccer Complex. The vouchers can be redeemed in any quantity and represent a 75% savings over purchasing general admission tickets at the gate. In addition to entry to the games, the first 200 fans that purchase their ticket voucher books will receive an ODU soccer scarf.
