NORFOLK, Va. --
The Old Dominion women's basketball team, coming off of a 68-60 win over FIU last Friday, travels to first-place WKU and Southern Miss this week in Conference USA action.

ODU (5-18, 3-6 C-USA) takes on WKU on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. ET on Fox College Sports and Famous 1310 radio. The Monarchs then travel to Hattiesburg to battle Southern Miss on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET on CUSA.tv and ESPN 94.1.

Old Dominion has won three of their last five games and are holding opponents to just 56 points in their last six contests.

Individually, Victoria Morris garnered her third C-USA Freshman of the Week honor on Monday after the standout guard scored a career-high 24 points against FIU. Morris leads the team in scoring with 12.2 points per game and leads all freshmen in the nation in threes made with 69.

Senior post player Odegua Oigbokie is also averaging double figures with 10.6 points to go along with a team-high 6.1 rebounds per game.

On the boards, ODU has outrebounded eight of their last 11 opponents and own a +5 rebound margin during that span.

WKU leads the all-time series against ODU, 14-8, and Southern Miss has a 4-2 advantage in the series against the Monarchs.

WKU (17-5, 8-1 C-USA) enters the weekend in a tie atop the C-USA standings with Rice. The Lady Toppers have won five straight and nine of their last 10. Their lone conference loss is a 79-61 defeat at UAB. WKU is led by wing Tashia Brown, who is sixth in the nation in scoring with 22.2 points per game.

Southern Miss (13-9, 5-4 C-USA) is 10-2 at home this season. Last weekend, the Golden Eagles fell at Rice and then defeated Marshall at home. In conference play, USM holds signature wins over LA Tech, UAB and Middle Tennessee. Jayla Kings leads three players in double figures with 15.8 points per game.
