By ODU Athletics
IRVING, Texas -- Old Dominion standout guard Victoria Morris has been named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team, the league office announced on Monday.
Morris, a 5-8 guard from Cincinnati, has started all but one game for ODU this season and is averaging a team-high 11.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. She is on pace to become the first freshman since Celeste Hill in 1990-91 to lead Old Dominion in scoring.
The three-time C-USA Freshman of the Week has made the fourth-most three-pointers among all freshmen in the nation. Morris has hit five or more threes in six games this season and has scored 20 or more points in three games, including a season-high 24 in the win over FIU.
Morris has reached double figures in 20 of the 30 games and has led the team in scoring nine times.
