Sailing 11th After Day One of Gill Coed National Championship

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University sailing sits in 11th place after the first day of the Gill Coed National Championship hosted by ODU.

ODU is just six points behind 10th place Dartmouth and 13 behind ninth place Navy.

The Division A duo of Jeremy Herrin and Carter Little took 11th place in their division, securing seven top-10 finishes out of 12 races.

The Division B team of Jack Elkin and Stephen Guglielmo took 14th in the division, taking home six top-10's in 12 races.

The national championship will wrap-up tomorrow beginning at 10 a.m. With 12 races completed today, a maximum of six races are needed to complete the championship.
