Rowing Set for Cherry Hill Invitational

CHERRY HILL, N.J. - The Old Dominion women's rowing team is set to compete in the Cherry Hill Invitational on the Cooper River hosted by Bucknell University.
ODU will be competing against Bucknell, Columbia, Connecticut, Delaware, Fordham, George Washington, Georgetown, Holy Cross, Jacksonville, Lehigh, Marist, MIT, Rhode Island and St. Joe's.
Last weekend, ODU competed in the George Mason Invite, where they took second in two out of the three C Finals and took second as a league in the Big 12/AAC team.
On Saturday, the rowing Monarchs will compete in morning heats. The 1V8+ will compete at 8:20 am, 2V8+ at 8:50 am, the 1V4+ at 9:20 am and the 2V4+ boat at 9:40 am. Once the morning heats wrap up, there will be a Grand Final, Petite Final and a Third Level Final based off the time and finish. The finals will begin at 10:40 am for the 1V8+ BOAT, 11:10 am to 11:40 am for the 2V8+ finals, 11:40 am to noon for the 1V4+ and 12 pm to 12:20 pm for the 2V4+ finals.
In the opening race, the 1V8+ boat will face Holy Cross, Jacksonville, Bucknell and Georgetown. The 2V8+ boat will go up against Holy Cross, George Washington, Columbia and Lehigh. IV4+ will race Georgetown, St. Joes and Holy Cross, while the 2V4+ will face Bucknell, St. Joes and Connecticut.
