Women's Golf to Host Princess Anne Invitational

NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion women's golf team is set to host the second annual Princess Anne Invitational at Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach on Oct. 4-6. Last season, the event was ranked in the top-50 toughest tournaments in college golf by Golfweek. 

ODU will tee off with C-USA foes, UTSA and Middle Tennessee beginning off hole 1 at 8:55 am.

Head coach Mallory Hetzels' team took a fourth place finish at the Lady Paladin Invitational last weekend, hosted by Furman. Sophomore Jana Melichova was named C-USA Golfer of the Week on Wednesday afternoon after taking a second-place finish at the tournament going three-under. 

Monarch fans are encouraged to come support the team Friday through Sunday at Princess Anne Country Club. Admission is free for all. Hear from Hetzel as she talks about the significance of hosting the tournament.
