Women's Lacrosse: Meet the New Monarchs: Grace McCrery

ODUsports.com will introduce the newcomers for the 2017-18 women's lacrosse team. Today we will introduce Grace McCrery.

Q: Why did you choose Old Dominion?
GM: I chose ODU because it has everything I had been looking for in a school. I then loved it even more when I got to know more about the lacrosse program. 

Q: What is your major?
GM: BFA (drawing and design)

Q: What is something people don’t know about you?
GM: That I play several instruments.                                                                                                         

Q: When did you start playing your lacrosse and why?
GM: I started playing in eighth grade because my PE teacher said I should. 

Q: What are you looking most forward to on game day?
GM: I love watching attackers put into motion everything they have been working on in practice. It’s rewarding to be successful at the plan. 

Q: Who do you look up to and why?
GM: I look up to a lot of people but most of all, my mom. My mom is really organized and productive but is still always so nice to everyone.

Q: Who from history would you like meet and dine with? Why?
GM: I would like to meet and dine with Frank Lloyd Wright because I’ve always had a lot of questions about him and his work. 

Q: Name one movie that you saw this year, and would recommend to others?
GM: I saw the Star Wars Rouge One Film and I would defiantly recommend seeing it to anyone. 

Q: If you were on a deserted island, and could only take three things with you, what would they be, and why?
GM: A bible for my sanity, duct tape because it can solve virtually any problem and Bear Grills because he would know what to do. 

Q: Name the Emoji that describes you the most?
GM: The little purple octopus. 

Q: If you could choose one place to visit, where would you go, and why?
GM: Australia because of the countless natural environments there 

Q: What is in your pregame playlist?
GM: Mostly R&B with some rap and trap. 

Q: Would you ever go on reality TV? If so which show and why?
GM: Never 

Q: What is your favorite holiday and why?
GM: Christmas because its the one time its a guarantee I’ll see everyone. 

Q: Any gameday rituals?
GM: Pray and braid my hair

Q: Favorite music artist?
GM: Post Malone

Q: Favorite food?
GM: Mangos  

Q: Favorite place to eat near campus?
GM: Jamba juice 

Q: Favorite book?
GM: Merchant of Venice
