Jacob Henderson Named To All-State Second Team

NORFOLK, Va. - Jacob Henderson (197) of the Old Dominion University wrestling team was named to the 2013 Virginia Sports Information Directors All-State Wrestling Second Team.

Henderson finished his redshirt sophomore season with a 26-14 overall record. The Toledo, Ohio native went 11-7 in dual meets and recorded a 7-3 record in CAA dual action. The 197-pounder began the season by claiming first place at the Clarion Open. Henderson then placed second at the Brute Open as well as the Franklin & Marshall Open. Jacob finished the season with a fourth-place finish at the CAA Tournament. Henderson shined in the dual against Virginia, as he upended NCAA Qualifier Mike Salopek, 3-1.
