Co-Ed Monarchs Finish Second in War Memorial

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion's co-ed sailing team finished in second-place today in the War Memorial regatta and qualified for the Atlantic Coast Dinghy Championships next weekend (Nov. 13-14) at MIT in Boston, MA. St. Mary's won the event, finishing with 104 points, followed by ODU (116), Georgetown (122), Hobart William Smith (124) and US Merchant Marine Academy (142).

Adam Burns (Youngstown, NY), Heather Pescatello (Westerly, RI) and Justin Castagne (West Indies) led the way for the Monarchs with a second place finish in A Division. In B Division, Ryan Dunn (Brick, NJ), Liz Biondi (Norwalk, CT) and Tim Jansen (Osterville, MA) combined for a fourth place finish.
