Monarch Sailors Finish Fourth In ODU Open

NORFOLK, VA (Mar. 5) - Old Dominion's co-ed sailing team finishing in fourth place in the ODU Open on March 5. St. Mary's won the event, a regional qualifier for the America Trophy, also hosted by Old Dominion on April 29-30.

Monarch freshmen Tim Jansen (Osterville, MA) and Megan Bartley (Oak Park, IL) won A Division with 51 points to lead the Monarchs. In B Division, Jessica Simpson (Ontario, Canada) and Debbie Capozzi (Bayport, NY) finished sixth.

St. Mary's, Navy, Washington College, ODU, UMBC, Penn and Georgetown all qualified for the America Trophy.
