Busy Weekend Ahead for ODU Sailing

Old Dominion is set to compete in four events, two locally this weekend


2012-13: Placed second in the South #1 A Division race alongside Evan Hoffmann... Took fourth place while coupled with Hoffmann in the B Division of the Captain Hurst Bowl... Helped secure an eighth place finish in the B Division of the HWS Fall Intersectional while teamed with Zach Runci and Cooper Paiva... In the spring, represented the Monarchs at the Prosser Trophy Race and the Aaron Szambecki Team Race.

2011-12: Teamed with Gavin Rudolph, won the Senators Cup A Division Race while finishing second in the Sherman Hoyt Trophy B Division Race, fifth in the St. Mary's Fall Intersectional B Division Race and 18th in the Atlantic Coast Championship B Division Race... Also placed fifth in the Riley Cup B Division Race with Evan Hoffmann... In the spring, finished fifth in the B Division of the Admiral's Cup and placed 12th in the B Division of the Truxtun Umsted with Gavin Rudolph in both... Placed 15th at the Gill Dinghy National Championship in Division B with Rudolph as well.

2010-11: Sailed with Miles Martschink in the B-Division at the Riley cup and the duo claimed sixth... Claimed eighth in the B-Divisoin at the MAISA Top 9 Invite sailing with Collin Leon... Also competed at the Navy Fall and Danmark Trophy Regattas.

Prep: Three-sport athlete at Fairfield Ludlowe High School... Played field hockey and ice hockey for four years and was a crew member on the sailing team for three seasons.

Personal: Born April 11, 1992... Daughter of Paul and Deborah Fattibene... Spent the summer working as a sailing instructor at Noroton Yacht Club... Dream vacation is a trip to Fiji... Favorite food is ice cream... Favorite movie is Jaws.
