NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University football completed their final day of practice Saturday morning at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex Practice Field.
ODUSports.com is taking a closer look at this year’s team. Today we take a look at junior cornerback, Reggie Owens.
Why did you choose Old Dominion? I’m from Virginia Beach and I wanted to be close to my family.
What is it like to play in front of a sold-out crowd at Foreman Field? It’s exciting and such a good experience. The crowd gets so loud and it is all for our team.
What is the transition between and underclassmen and an upperclassmen like? As an underclassman I was always looking up to the older guys and they always helped me out, but now I’m the one helping the younger guys out and it’s a great experience.
How has camp been this season? It’s been good and we can see our team getting better each day.
What is one thing you anticipate joining Conference USA? It is FBS football so the competition is going to be better. We are basically an underdog in each game and I am looking forward to that.
