Breen, Villagra Selected to Big East Honor Roll

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University sophomore midfielder Sarah Breen and junior forward Rosario Villagra were selected to the BIG EAST Honor Roll for their performances this past weekend. The Lady Monarchs won both home games against Providence (2-1 in overtime) and Quinnipiac (7-0) respectively.
Breen scored both games, including the game-winner Friday against Providence. She also added a goal and an assist in the win over Quinnipiac. This is Sarah's second straight week on the Big East Honor Roll.
Villagra amassed three goals and three assists in both games. She had three goals and two assists in the win over Quinnipiac. Rosario also appeared in the Honor Roll after helping ODU defeat American University.
Katie Foran of Temple was named BIG EAST Player of the Week, while defenseman Alyssa Voelmle of Louisville was named Defensive Player of the Week. Joining Breen and Villagra on the honor roll were Marie Elena Bolles (Connecticut), Sarah Butterfield (Georgetown) and Jessica Swoboda (Villanova).
