Top Ranked Czech Golfer Signs With Lady Monarchs

NORFOLK, VA— Old Dominion University head women’s golf coach Andy Crabtree announced the signing of Katerina Vlasinova (Trebic, Czech Republic) to a national letter of intent.

“We are very excited to welcome Katerina Vlasinova to the ODU family.  Katerina is a top international talent and I believe she will make an immediate impact and help the women's golf team reach new heights," said Crabtree.  

 Vlasinova is currently the number one ranked Czech Republic junior player.  She is a member of the Czech Republic Junior National Team.  In 2013 Vlasinova finished second at Czech International Amateur and won the 2013 Slovak Open.

Vlasinova was also recruited by the University of North Carolina, East Carolina and the University of South Carolina. She is the daughter of Joseph and Martina Vlasinova and has one sister Radka.
