JMU Defeats Lady Monarchs In CAA Quarters

HARRISONBURG, VA.--The fourth seeded James Madison Dukes (12-7-1) defeated fifth seed Old Dominion (12-7), 5-0 in a Colonial Athletic Association quarterfinal match Tuesday night.

JMU took a 3-0 halftime lead, then added two more goals in the second half. Sarah Cebulski led JMU with a goal and an assist, while Kimmy Germain assisted on two goals. JMU will now advance to Friday's semi-final matchup against top seed and host VCU at the Sportsbacker Stadium in Richmond, VA.

ODU senior forward Laura Beeman was named CAA Player of the week after her three-goal performance against Towson last week. She leads the CAA with 16 goals and 35 total points.
