What got you interested in playing soccer? A) " I used to watch my older brother play soccer and we started playing together. Once I started I new this was the sport for me."

Why goalkeeping? A) "My brother (Ian Stowe at W&M )would always be shooting in the back yard and he needed someone to shoot against, so I would just hopped in goal and saved a few shots. I actually got pretty good at it so I decided to stick with it. The other part was I didn't really want to learn all of those foot skills."

Who is your favorite soccer player? A) "Fabien Barthez, goalkeeper from the 1998 French World Cup Championship team. He's a short guy like myself with incredible athletic ability. He's fearless and was a great leader for that World Cup team."

You are majoring in history, what do you like about studying? A) "I enjoy learning about the past, and how we can improve on the future by looking at the past. We can learn a lot from mistakes made in the past. I am more interested in European history, because there is a lot more to look at. A lot of history."

How did you become your high school mascot? A) "I started at Clover Hill High school as a freshman, before moving to Cosby High School. While at Cosby I was friends with a lot of the cheerleaders. I am a pretty outgoing person and they felt I was pretty entertaining. One day the cheerleading coach asked if I wanted to be the mascot. I thought about it and decided to go for it. Did it for three years and really enjoyed it, especially pumping up the crowd. Our team mascot was the Titan. I performed at Football, basketball and volleyball games, played soccer in the Spring."
