NORFOLK, VA - The #18 Old Dominion men's soccer team will travel to Charlottesville Wednesday night to take on the #2 Virginia Cavaliers at Klockner Stadium.  Game time is 7:30.  The Monarchs, unbeaten in their last six games, go into the game with a 10-3-2 record and currently top the Colonial Athletic Association standings with a 5-2-1 record.  Virginia is 13-2-0 this season, including 4-1 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.  The Cavaliers are a perfect 10-0 at home.

The Monarchs have a 4-13-2 all-time record against the Cavaliers, winning the last meeting 1-0 in 1997.  Virginia is coming off a dramatic 3-2 overtime victory over the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday.  The Cavaliers also had a 1-0 overtime win at home over Longwood last Wednesday.  Junior Defender/Midfielder Hunter Freeman leads Virginia in scoring with 20 points (two goals, 16 assists), while Adam Cristman is the team-leader in goals, with six.  Defensively, Goalkeeper Ryan Burke has a 0.79 Goals Against Average and has recorded six shutouts this season.

ODU extended their home unbeaten streak to 24 games over the weekend, defeating previously unbeaten #9 James Madison 1-0 Friday night and defeating George Mason 2-0 Sunday afternoon.  Kevon Harris (Kingston, Jamaica), this week's CAA Player of the Week and member of the College Soccer News National Team of the Week, scored game-winning goals in both games and has a team-leading 16 points (six goals, four assists).

The Monarchs end their regular season at home Saturday, November 6, when they host William & Mary at 7:00.
