Golf Takes Fifth at 2002 CAA Championships

Glen Allen, VA-The Old Dominion golf team took fifth place at the 2002 Colonial Athletic Association golf championship hosted by The Crossings Golf Club in Glen Allen, VA.
Virginia Commonwealth won the tournament championship for the seventh straight year and also finished with the tournament medalist, junior Ted Brown. Brown finished with a -12 and a three day total of 204. Four VCU golfers matched or bettered par for the tournament.
Geoffrey Harris (Reading, England) finished tied for ninth with a 215 and teammate Michael Hospodar (Ontario, Canada) tied for 12th with a 216. Chris Piercy (Reading, England) was 18th and Adam Condello (Fairport, NY) tied for 21st. Leighton Harris (Durban, South Africa) tied for 33rd.
