Nick Kenney Captures Toronto Star Amateur

TORONTO, CANADA-- Rising junior NIck Kenney shot a three- under par 291 to capture the sixth annual Toronto Star Amateur at Devil's Pulpit in Canada. Kenney shot a 74 on the final day to edge out Don Bryson of Brantford Golf and Country Club (72/293) and Shawn Lafontaine of Dalewood (76/294). During the 2003-04 season, Kenney placed fourth at the Wofford Invitational and 12th at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships. Kenney averaged 75.09 during the year, including 74.8 in the fall season. The Monarchs, under the direction of head coach Murray Rudisill finished second in the CAA Championships.
