Monarch Golfers in 11th at Emerald Coast Collegiate

GULF BREEZE, FL -- Old Dominion's golf team currently stands in 11th-place after two rounds of golf at the Tiger Point Country Club in the Emerald Coast Collegiate. The Monarchs recorded rounds of 309 and 306 to finish at 615 through 36 holes.

Sophomore Steve Sokol (Oxford, CT) leads the way for Old Dominion, tied for 28th place at 152 after firing consecutive rounds of 76. Sophomore Michael Hospodar (Ontario, Canada) and sophomore Tony Sarko (Allentown, PA) stand tied for 40th at 154.

Freshmen Stephen Richards (Bucks, England) and Geoffrey Harris (Reading, England) sit at 52nd and 58th after posting scores of 157 and 159 respectively.

Bethune-Cookman's Philip Worthington holds the individual lead through 36 holes after firing 70-69-139. Air Force leads the event at 588. The final round will be played on Tuesday.
