NORFOLK, VA. - Old Dominion University golf coach Dr. Murray Rudisill announced the signing of Kyle MacKenzie (Ontario, Canada), and Garrett Pike (Sterling, VA.) to letters-of-intent.
"It is great to be able to have another Virginia golfer on the squad for next year," said Rudisill. "Garrett has an outstanding record in junior golf in Virginia, and should compete for a spot on the traveling squad as a freshman. Kyle is ranked as one of the top players in Ontario as well as in all of Canada. We are pleased to continue our "Canadian Connection" and we expect Kyle to jump into the starting lineup immediately."
Pike is a three-time Dulles District champion at Potomac High School. As a junior, Pike captured the Virginia AA State championship. As a sophomore he was the Virginia AA state runner-up.
