UVA Golf Tournament First Round Delayed Due To Bad Weather
April 26, 2008
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA-- Seth Norman was the only Monarch golfer to finish his first round of play at the Cavalier Classic. Weather delay and darkness caused the first round of action not to be completed.
Teams on the course when play was suspended will resume their round at 8 a.m. Sunday, and then return to their regular tee times later in the day.
ODU's Seth Norman shot a 77 in the first round. Conrad Von Borsig of Virginia shot a 68 to lead the round. As a team, Virginia tallied a 282, followed by Augusta State at 287. 12 of the teams finished play before darkness.
