Monarchs Seventh At Jacksonville Invitational

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL-- The ODU Monarchs finished seventh at the Jacksonville Invitational at the Players Stadium Course. ODU shot 314 in the final round to finish with a 923 score for the 54-hole tournament.
Freshman Jamison Randall (Cumberland, RI.) shot 83 today to finish at 232 tied for 33rd, followed by junior Garth McGee (Bangor, Northern Ireland) who fired 75 today to finish at 233. Thomas Wilde (Bucks, England) shot the best round of the day for ODU at 74 to finish tied for 40th at 234.
The University of Florida won the event with a 54 hole score of 884 to finish 20 under par, 15 strokes better than second place Liberty. T.J. Vogel of Florida captured the individual championship with a 216, two strokes better than Rhys Enoch of East Tennessee State.
The Monarchs return to action on Feb. 26 when they play in the Seahawk Intercollegiate in Wilmington, NC.
