Men's Tennis Opens CAA Championship with James Madison

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University men's tennis earned the No. 4 seed in the upcoming CAA Tennis Championship and will take on No. 5 seed James Madison Friday, April 20 at 4 p.m.
The Championship will be held on ODU's campus at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center.
The Monarchs finished the season with a 12-9 record and 3-2 mark in the CAA while James Madison is 11-9 overall and also 3-2 in league play.
The two teams met on February 12, with ODU pulling out a 4-3 win in Norfolk.
Play begins on Thursday, April 19 when No. 8 seed Delaware takes on No. 8 Drexel at 9 a.m. That match is followed by No. 7 George Mason vs. No. 10 Hofstra.
The quarterfinals begin on Friday at 8:30 a.m. when No. 3 UNCW faces No. 6 William and Mary. Georgia State follows as they play the Mason vs. Hofstra winner at 11 a.m.
VCU, the No. 1 seed, plays the UD, Drexel winner at 1:30 followed by ODU vs. JMU at 4 p.m.
