Men's Tennis Stays No. 54 in ITA Rankings

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University men's tennis went 2-0 on the weekend and has won five-straight matches and is ranked No. 54 for the second-straight week in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings.

The Monarchs defeated Florida Gulf Coast and Florida Atlantic this weekend to improve to 9-3 on the year.

Sophomore No. 1 singles player Carlos Lopez Villa is 12-0 on the year while Wesley Barrett and Zvonimir Podvinski each have 8-3 records.

The Monarchs host future Conference USA foe Texas-San Antonio on Saturday, March 9 at noon.
