NORFOLK, Va. - Senior Krzysztof Muzalewski earned second team All-CAA honors and freshman Carlos Lopez Villa was named third-team All-CAA, while the doubles team of Lopez Villa and Albert Ochagavia earned second-team all-conference honors, the CAA announced Thursday.

A native of Torun, Poland, Muzalewski went 11-10 on the year playing all but two matches at No. 1 singles. He defeated two ranked opponents during the season, beating No. 114 David O'Hare of Memphis and No. 118 Ivan Turudic of Penn. He also produced 11 wins in doubles action. The honor is the second all-conference for Muzalewski, as he earned second team honors last year.

Lopez Villa finished the year with a 12-8 mark and was 7-3 at No. 2 singles. The Madrid, Spain native has won seven of his last eight matches.

Ochagavia and Lopez Villa didn't pair up until March 23, but they have been flawless going 6-0 at No. 2 doubles. The duo started with an 8-4 win over Cornell and completed the regular season with an 8-5 triumph over William and Mary to help ODU deliver a 4-3 win over the Tribe.

The Monarchs are back in action Friday at 4 p.m. when they take on James Madison in the quarterfinals of the CAA Tennis Championship.
