Men's Tennis Dominates Morgan State, 7-0

FAIRFAX, Va. - Old Dominion University men's tennis opened its season in fine fashion on Saturday afternoon, dominating Morgan State 7-0.

The Monarchs started the day by taking all three doubles matches. Tobias Fanselow and Krzysztof Muzalewski were flawless in an 8-0 win over Eric Ward and Kevon Charles.

Benjamin Chomette and Fahoum Fahoum delivered an 8-4 triumph over Dmitry Chekhlatyy and Aaron Benjamin while Albert Ochagavia and Alfredo Rodriguez won their match 8-2. ODU started strong in all three matches, taking at least a 3-0 lead in every match.

ODU continuted its domination in singles play. Fanselow, Chomette and Fahoum all won the first set 6-0, en route to straight set victories, while ODU did not lose more than three sets in any match as all six Monarchs won in straight sets.

ODU takes on Louisville Sunday morning at 10 a.m. and Norfolk State Sunday night at 8 p.m. The Lady Monarchs' match against Morgan State was cancelled. They will face Norfolk State at p.m.
