Men's Tennis Tops Winthrop, 4-3

NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University men's tennis won the doubles point and four singles matches en route to a 4-3 victory over Winthrop on Saturday at the Folkes-Stevens Indoor Tennis Facility.

Tobias Fanselow and Krzysztof Muzalewski cruised to an 8-2 win while Albert Ochagavia and Alfredo Rodriguez clinched the point with an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles.

Fanselow kept the momentum going at number one singles with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Sergey Belov while Muzalewski and Ochagavia cliched the win with a pair of victories at No. 3 and No. 4 singles.

Clay Cypert competed in his first match of the season for the Monarchs, falling in a tough three-setter, 6-7, 6-4, (10-4).
