Fanselow Named CAA Men's Tennis Player of the Week

Fanselow Season Highlights

RICHMOND, Va. - Old Dominion University senior Tobias Fanselow was named Colonial Athletic Association men's tennis Player of the Week, the CAA announced on Tuesday.

Fanselow went 3-0 on the week, all three were straight set victories. He defeated East Carolina's Jaroslav Horvath 6-2, 6-1 to begin the week and knocked off UNC Greensboro's Orcun Seyrek 6-2, 6-4. He finished the week with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Maryland Baltimore County's Christian Hodel, 6-2, 6-4.

For the season, Fanselow is 10-1 and has won nine-straight matches.

Fanselow and the Monarchs are back in action Friday as they take on Liberty at 2 p.m. and Christopher Newport at 8 p.m.
